School of Dentistry Tenure Track and Career Line (Non-Tenure Track) Research Faculty Positions
The University of Utah School of Dentistry invites applications for tenure-track and career line (non-tenure track) research faculty at the assistant, associate or full professor ranks. As the first new School of Dentistry at a major academic health center in over three decades, our mission is to create clinician scholars, researchers and educators to advance dentistry and improve oral health. We have a singular opportunity to define the future of dentistry at our institution and for our profession!
Successful candidates will have a dual DDS/PhD or MD/PhD degrees or a PhD degree and a track record of innovation and excellence in the fields of craniofacial, oral, dental or related research with a history of extramural funding and quality publications. Besides establishing a vibrant and externally funded research program, selected candidates will be expected to mentor DDS and graduate trainees and contribute to teaching foundational sciences in the School of Dentistry.
