Graduation

Commencement Ceremony

Commencement for the School of Dentistry Class of 2025 will be held on May 16, 2025 on the University of Utah Campus at Kingsbury Hall (1395 East Presidents Circle) from 2 - 3 pm. A livestream of the event will be available in the future.

Regalia

Regalia (cap, gown, tassel, and hood) can be purchased at the University of Utah Campus Store.

Guest Seating

Guests are required to have tickets to attend the School of Dentistry Commencement Ceremony and should contact the Office of Education for ticket requests. Seating for graduates, faculty, and those requiring disability accommodations will be reserved (please refer to Accommodations below). Guests must be seated by 1:50 pm in order for the ceremony to begin on time.

Accommodations

Parking and Shuttle Service

Families/guests are encouraged to drop graduates off at Kingsbury Hall to prevent late arrivals for the processional line-up. Parking will be available at Rice-Eccles Stadium with shuttle service to Kingsbury Hall. There will also be parking available in lots near Kingsbury Hall with signs directing to the Hall.

Photographs

The School of Dentistry has contracted with a professional photography company to photograph all graduates from the School of Dentistry. Graduates are under no obligation to purchase these photographs. Guests may take personal photographs, but guests will not be allowed on the floor (stage front) of Kingsbury Hall during the Commencement Ceremony. Photos will be available after graduation at http://orders.islandphoto.com/apps/RegisterGraduates.aspx.
