Brenda Heaton, PhD, MPH
The Office of Research was established in July 2023 with the hire of Dr. Brenda Heaton as Associate Dean for Research at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. She also serves as an Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Health Sciences Research.
Our purpose is to increase our capacity, expand the scope of, and amplify the impact of oral health research at the University of Utah.
Our team includes staff members with expertise in various aspects of research administration, research development, regulations and compliance, human subjects research , clinical data collection and analysis, science communication, technology commercialization, and financial management.
