Professor Wes Sundquist, H.A. and Edna Benning Presidential Chair and co-chair of the Department of Biochemistry, was among 84 new members and 21 foreign associates elected to the National Academy of Sciences in April 2014 in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research.
