Five Faculty Members Honored

School of Dentistry Faculty Given International Recognition

The International College of Dentists (ICD) presented Drs. David Adams, Jeri Bullock, Nathan Chandler, Holly Sharp, and Daniel Thunell with admission into its fellowship for conspicuous service rendered in the art and science of dentistry.

ICD is the preeminent honor society of the world's outstanding dentists involved in serving others. The ICD is dedicated to the recognition of outstanding professional achievement, meritorious service and the continued progress in the profession of dentistry for the benefit of all humankind.

Their induction was formalized during ICD's 87th Annual Convocation (held virtually) on Nov. 13, 2021. ICD has representative chapters in more than 123 countries, and has over 12,000 members, including about 6,000 in the United States.

Congratulations to all of them for their dedication and representation of the University of Utah School of Dentistry.
